"Hehua" panda is a female panda. Her nicknames include "Huahua" and "Guolai", “Huahua” means “Flower” for its beautiful appearance and “Guolai” means “coming” in Chinese, because when keepers ask her to come back for food, she thinks “coming” is her name and will come to enjoy the food. Huahua was born on July 4, 2020, together with her twin sister He Ye, in the Moon Delivery Room of the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Her mother is Cheng Gong, known as the "Princess Mysophobia", and her father is a returned giant panda named Mei Lan.
Through social media video and official media promotion, Hehua's videos are increasingly seen and liked by more and more people, even fueling the Panda Economy in Chengdu City in 2023, the hometown of pandas.
1. Why Hehua panda is so pupluar in the panda world?
Compared with her peers, Huahua is short and chubby, slow in movement, and not good at climbing trees. It has been loved by people for its silly and peaceful nature, as well as her adorable and beautiful appearance.
