On Oct. 2024, according to the latest announcement of Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the base will implement winter business hours for pandas spots from November 1, 2024. Tourists are advised to be aware of this and prepare their ticket booking time in advance.
The announcement said that in order to further guarantee the life of animals, follow the rule of sunrise and sunset in winter, and improve the touring experience, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (excluding Dujiangyan Irrigation Project Panda Valley) will implement the winter business hours of the scenic spot from November 1, 2024, as follows:
Period: From November 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
Entry time for morning ticket : 8:00-12:00;
Entry time for afternoon ticket : 12:00-16:30.
Reminder: Due to the need for ticketing system updates, tickets for November 1, 2024 and onwards will be available for booking starting from 6:00 pm on October 31.
Prior to this, the summer operating hours were: morning ticket entry time: 7:30-12:00; Afternoon ticket entry time: 12:00-17:00.
