Go and return by subway and shuttle bus.
(1) Go to the South Gate (including return)
Take subway line 3 to reach Panda Avenue Station. Exit from Exit A, walk 10 meters, take a direct bus from the scenic area to the south gate of Chengdu Panda Base, and take the bus at the exit point to return to the subway station. The round-trip price is 2 yuan. The direct train operation time at Panda Avenue Station (Entrance/Exit A) of the subway is 7:30-16:30; The operation time of the direct train to the south gate of the Panda Base is 8:00-17:00. (2) Go to the West Gate (including return)
Take the subway: You can take Line 3 to the Military Region General Hospital Station, exit from Exit B, and head 280 meters towards the Yulei intersection to reach the scenic spot shuttle bus station. Take the scenic spot shuttle bus to the west gate of Chengdu Panda Base, with a fare of 2 yuan; When returning, you can return to the subway station by taking the shuttle bus at the exit point. The operation time of the subway shuttle bus at the Military Region General Hospital Station is 8:00-17:00; The operation time of the shuttle bus at the west gate of the Panda Base is 8:30-18:00.
(3) How to get to and return from the airport and station
After arriving at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, as well as East Railway Station and North Railway Station, tourists from other places can take the subway to transfer to Line 3, and follow the above "subway+shuttle" method to go and return.

Go to the South Gate and take subway line 3 to reach the Subway Zoo Station: Exit from Exit A, walk 200 meters, take bus 655 at the "Subway Zoo Station" station (heading towards Xindu Passenger Transport Hub Station), take bus 9, get off at the "Panda Base Station" bus station, and walk about 5 minutes to reach the South Gate of Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base.
The operating hours of Bus No. 655 (heading towards Xindu Passenger Transport Hub) are 6:30-21:10. (Ticket price 2 yuan)
Return to the subway exit of Line 3: Take bus 655 at the "Panda Base Station" station (heading towards Weijianian Station on Qinggang North Road subway), take bus 9, get off at the "Subway Zoo Station" bus stop, and walk 200 meters to reach the subway station of Line 3.
The operating hours of Bus 655 (heading towards Weijianian Station on Qinggang North Road Subway) are 6:00-20:00. (Ticket price 2 yuan)
Go to the South Gate and take Metro Line 3 to reach the Subway Zoo Station: Exit from Exit A, walk 200 meters, take Bus No. 87 at the "Subway Zoo Station" station (heading towards the Longtan Industrial Park bus station), take Bus No. 12, get off at the "Panda Base Station" bus station, and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the South Gate of Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base.
The operating hours of the No. 87 bus (heading towards the Longtan Industrial Park bus stop) are 6:30-21:00. (Ticket price 2 yuan)
Return to the subway exit of Line 3: Take Bus No. 87 (heading towards Zhaojue Temple Bus Station) at the "Panda Base Station" station, take Bus No. 11, get off at the "Subway Zoo Station" bus station, and walk 200 meters to reach the subway station of Line 3.

Chengdu Metro currently operates lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 17, and 18 using a metered and timed ticket system. Starting at 2 yuan, passengers can travel 4 kilometers, with an increase of 1 yuan for every 4 kilometers within the range of 4 to 12 kilometers; Within the range of 12 to 24 kilometers, an additional 1 yuan will be added for every 6 kilometers of increase; Within the range of 24 to 40 kilometers, an increase of 1 yuan will be added for each additional 8 kilometers; Within the range of 40 to 50 kilometers, 1 yuan will be added for every 10 kilometers of increase, and after exceeding 50 kilometers, 1 yuan will be added for every 20 kilometers of increase; Rong Line 2 adopts a one-way ticket system, with a fare of 2 yuan per trip.
