On July 4th, 2024, the top three pandas in the panda world, the half parent Menglan, Hehua, and Heye, celebrated their birthdays on the same day.
Around 7am, there were already crowds outside the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. Today is the 4th birthday of giant panda "Hehua" and "Heye". Many netizens who love giant pandas came to the base early to celebrate the two "superstars". "Panda fans" prepared birthday cakes and flowers for panda twins, He Hua and He Ye. In fact, at 5:00 am that day, the gate of Chengdu Panda Base was already full of fans of panda He Hua and panda He Ye, and many panda lovers started queuing one day in advance.
On the same day, the keepers of Beijing Zoo have specially made a wowowotou cake for Menglan, with eight small birds surrounding her, symbolizing her little bird friends. The keeper used bamboo tubes to form a "nine" shape, representing Menglan's ninth birthday. The four characters "Zhilan Yushu" were written on the bamboo tubes by the roadside.
Panda He Hua, and panda He Ye can also enjoy the ice cake, fruit and vegetable skewers, and bear claw popsicles prepared by the caretaker on this day.
